The final of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Sea Festival Beauty Contest was wrapped up on April 12 with the participation of 18 beauty contestants, including six from Ho Chi Minh City, four from Hanoi, two from Can Tho, two from Dong Nai and four from Long An, Tay Ninh, Dak Lak and Ba Ria-Vung Tau provinces.

Vu Ngoc Diep will become an ambassador to promote the tourism image of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

After the coronation, Ms Diep told a VOVNews reporter that she was very happy to become Miss Ba Ria-Vung Tau Sea Festival and she plans to coordinate with her friends to develop a website to promote the tourism potential of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

Two runners up were Tsin Thuy Thanh Thien from Central Highlands province of Dak Lak and Huynh Thi Mong Tuyen from Ho Chi Minh City. The organising board also presented seven sub prizes to beauty contestants.
