This is the first time Vietnam won the highest prize at the international pageant.

Before being crowned on the final night, Vu Hoang Diep bagged two notable titles: Miss Talent and second runner up for Miss Bikini.

22-year old Diep is 1.74m tall with three measurements 84-60-90. She once was runner-up at the Miss Sea Pageant 2007.
