South-central Ninh Thuan province plans to invest VND7.5 billion in projects to restore and develop four Cham ethnic crafts villages.

The four traditional crafts villages, whose names indicate a specific craft, include An Thach (sedge mat making), My Nghiep (brocade weaving), Chuong My (brocade weaving) and Bau Truc (ceramics), and were established hundreds of years ago.

Cham ethic people earn considerable annual incomes from producing craft products which are much sought after by both domestic and foreign tourists.
