•  Athletes prepared for 2012 Olympics

This was announced at a recent working session between the British Embassy in Vietnam and the Vietnam Olympics Committee.

Accordingly, local athletes will need to show their photos and fingerprints before travelling to London. They will also carry identification cards with their photos and fingerprints for security checks at airports and during their stay in the UK.

To date 15 Vietnamese athletes have qualified for the Games in London this summer.
