An online exchange entitled “Con duong pho” (The Road of Pho - a well-known Vietnamese dish) took place at the VOVNews office in Hanoi on November 21 with the participation of folklore writer Giang Quan, Pho 24 trademark initiator Ly Quy Trung, and representatives of pho villages in northern Nam Dinh province.
The exchange provided an insight into the history of pho (a kind of rice noodle), and ways to preserve the culture of pho as well as building the pho trademark during the country’s integration process.
The guests to the event had a chance to discuss many aspects of this food, from its cuisine and culture to pho villages, pho restaurants, and the variants of pho being served in different parts of Vietnam and in the world.
