Vietnam’s friendly match with Hyundai Mipo Dolphin
(VOV) -The Vietnamese football team beat Hyundai Mipo Dolphin from the Republic of Korea 2-1 in a friendly match at Hanoi’s Hang Day Stadium on January 31.
They dominated the match from the beginning, opening the scoring in the 17th minute thanks to winger Thanh Luong’s accurate pass to midfielder Quoc Anh.
Two minutes later Lee Jae Won equalized the score with a powerful free-kick from 25m that stunned the Vietnamese goal keeper Thanh Binh.
In the second half, overseas Vietnamese Mac Hong Quan replaced Hai Anh as a striker to bring pressure o bear upon the rival.
Eight minutes after failing to raise the score in the 64th minute Quan received the ball from his teammate and beat the goalkeeper with his left-foot shot.
With three wins after three matches, the Vietnamese team has received a high acclaim for its good preparation to meet the UAE in the 2015 Asian Cup qualifying round.
