The embassies of more than 40 countries in the Republic of Korea (RoK) took part in the Seoul Friendship Fair on May 8-9 as part of the annual festival.

On display at three pavilions of Vietnam, co-hosted by the embassy and the trade mission, were a wide range of specialties, drinks, cultural products and handicraft items.

The Vietnamese Ambassador to the RoK, Tran Trong Toan, said Vietnam’s items showcased at the fair included handicraft and bamboo products, as well as potteries, porcelains, coffee, tea, photos and books introducing the country’s beauty spots.

Hanwol, a major importer and distributor of Vietnamese beers and alcohols in the RoK, also put up a stand to promote Vietnam’s drinks.

An art troupe from the Hanoi Arts College entertained local audiences with special dances and songs, featuring the diverse culture of Vietnam.
