At the exhibition, special musical performances by Vietnamese artists received high praise from visitors. A film highlighting the land and people of Vietnam was also screened by the Vietnamese Embassy during the exhibition.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Tran Duc Mau also urged foreigners to visit Vietnam to understand the country, the people and its ongoing renewal process.

The event was organised at the precinct of the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development on the occasion of the so-called "Opening Day" of the German Government.

On this occasion citizens and other guests are allowed to visit the German Charcellor's office, governmental offices and meet high-ranking officials.
