Twenty-four famous dishes from northern, central and southern Vietnam, including pho (noodles) and nem cuon (spring rolls), are being offered during the month of Vietnamese Cuisine at the Westin Hotel in Beijing.

Nearly 200 guests, comprising diplomats and representatives of Chinese and Vietnamese enterprises, attended the opening ceremony on the evening of March 2.

All ingredients for making dishes were brought to China from Vietnam.

Two well-known cooks from the Sheraton Saigon Hotel were invited by the Vietnamese Embassy in China and the Westin Hotel to take charge of the culinary creations for the month.

Charlie Dang, General Manager of Westin, said that his hotel will put in their menu special Vietnamese dishes which are most favoured by their customers.
