A detailed project to build a film studio and commercial and services centre, called Vina Universal, in central Quang Ngai province was announced on October 23, covering a total area of 60 hectares.
The information was released by the provincial Duc Pho district’s People’s Committee and the Vina Film Studio – Resort Investment JSC, a subsidiary of the Tan Tao Group.
Vina Universal will include a casino, sports and resort centers, a golf course, a film studio, a Vietnamese ethnic minority’s cultural village and high-class villas.
The US$50 million project, the biggest of its kind in Vietnam, is expected to start operation by 2011.
