Hundreds of objects and documents representing the development of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) over the past 80 years are being showcased at an exhibition opening in Hanoi on October 8.
The exhibition, jointly held by the the Vietnam Youth Museum and the Vietnam Military History Museum, salutes the honourable tradition of the HCYU and its contributions to the struggle for national independence and the cause of national construction.
Such exhibits introduce the younger generation to Vietnam’s revolutionary spirit and tradition of patriotism and encourage young people to embrace this spirit.
This exhibition, timed to coincide with the Thang Long – Hanoi millennial anniversary, is in two parts: Vietnamese youth saluting HCYU’s proud tradition and Hanoi youth celebrating the capital’s millennial anniversary.
