His oil painting caught great attention from the jury of a painting contest in Fremont, California. Nguyen was advised to display his oil painting at the US Congress along with other oil paintings by young painters from across the US.

As an 11-grade student at Moreau High School in Hayward, Jeremy Nguyen will have the chance to apply for a scholarship at the Savannah Arts University – a university specilise in painting.
