The Vietnamese Youth and Student Association (VYSA) in Japan held a get-together at Tokyo University on January 20 to celebrate the lunar New Year Festival (Tet).

The Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan, Nguyen Phu Binh, also attended the event to deliver a Tet greeting and present Tet gifts to students.

Participants in the event enjoyed music and dance performances and took part in various games. They also had a chance to participate exchanges with two of Japan’s most beautiful girls – Miss Japan 2005, Noriko Ohno, and Miss Japan 2008, Fukumura Akemi, who expressed their admiration for Vietnamese students’ talent and intelligence.

The event was part of activities to strengthen solidarity among Vietnamese students in Japan and promote the relationship between the two countries.
