During the festival, the five-member band called The Wall will sing a song in the style of Vietnamese folk music named “Ra Khoi” (Set out to sea), “Neu em hieu” (If you understand) composed by the band, and “I will come”, a English version of the song “Anh se den”.

Established in Hanoi in March 1995, The Wall is one of the celebrated hardrock bands in Vietnam with more than 30 Hardrock and Metal songs.

The band has won many domestic and international prizes, including the excellent band award in the SV 96 Vietnam Television top five student bands, the most impressive band award by the Vietnam Student Magazine in 1996 and the excellent band award at Visages Francophones Festival – Cahors 2003.

Themed “the ASEAN Community in the World Community”, the AYCEF 2011 aims to better understanding about ASEAN member nations through musical exchanges.

The festival will also offer an opportunity to tighten the friendship between ASEAN countries and ASEAN young generations.
