Vietnamese photographer Dao Tien Dat has won the silver medal at the 9th International Photography Competition in Shanghai, China.

Dat was the only Vietnamese winner in the competition and his work was also awarded the special prize for digital photograph.

The competition was co-sponsored by the International Art Photography Federation, the US Photography Association and the British Royal Photography Association.
