Born in 1987, Quyen won the Miss Photo title at a beauty pageant held by Vietnam Women’s Magazine in 2005. The 1.72-m model has body measurements of 82-61-91 and appears frequently in fashion magazines and on the catwalks in Ho Chi Minh City.

Quyen can speak Chinese fluently, and is expected to introduce Vietnam’s image to international friends in China.

In preparation for the contest, fashion designer Dung Nguyen has made some 40 costumes for Quyen, including a gala evening dress and a disco queen ensemble.
