The journalists were considered in three categories: Energy Efficiency, Industrial Productivity and Sustainability.

Over 200 articles were published from January 1 to December 31, 2010 in newspapers, magazines or websites of professional journalist groups in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Vietnamese journalist, Nguyen Thanh Tung, has been given a consolation prize for his article about Vietnam’s efforts in pushing for a rapid industrialisation with a low carbon emission.
