Four other overseas Vietnamese, Minh Nguyen, Theresa Phan, Ann Nguyen and Aimee Le also attended the contest which was held to mark the city’s 50^th founding anniversary.

The winner was selected according to criteria for appearance, knowledge, communication skill, service to the community and artistic ability.

Emily Nguyen has taken a Ballet course and is currently engaging in an amnesia prevention programme.
