Two Vietnamese documentary films have won two out of 30 excellence award works at the 28th Tokyo Video Festival (TVF) 2006.

The films, namely Vuot Doc (Overcome Slope) and Huong Hoa giua doi thuong (Fragnance of Normal life), were made by directors To Cam and Viet Oanh from HCM City television.

TVF is an international video contest, which was launched under the sponsorship of JVC Corporation. The festival drew the participation of more than 2,290 works of art from 35 nations and territories throughout the world.

The awards ceremony will be held in Japan on February 18.
