The “Days of Vietnamese films in France” opened in Paris on September 30 with the screening of “Pao’s story” by Ngo Quang Hai and will run for three days until October 2.
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Tien Tho, Vietnamese ambassador to France Nguyen Dinh Bin, and ambassador and head of the Vietnamese delegation to UNESCO Van Nghia Dung.
After “Pao’s story”, a number of Vietnamese films will be introduced during the mini film festival, including “Fate” by Dao Duy Phuc and “Living in Fear” by Bui Thac Chuyen. These films have gained many prizes at recent domestic and international film festivals.
This is just one of many activities being held to mark Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung’s visit to France.
