The Vietnamese and 20 other embassies in Canada attended an international culture festival held at Algonquin University in Ottawa on April 7.
Vietnam displayed bronze drums, gongs and handicrafts, notably brocade and pottery products, as well as the familiar conical hat. Traditional dances were performed at the festival
Tran Thi Vinh, wife of Vietnamese ambassador to Canada Nguyen Duc Hung, said the embassy wanted to introduce the country’s beauty and friendliness.
The annual festival is an opportunity for students to learn about the cultures of nations around the world.
