The contest attracted 40 groups from many countries in the world, including the US, the Republic of Korea, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Denmark and Vietnam.

The Vietnamese group was placed among the top eight groups.

Nguyen Viet Thanh, head of the “Big Toe” group said they have gained valuable experiences from the world’s most renowned break dance groups. Thanh said he hopes a Vietnamese national break dance contest, which will gather around 20 famous Vietnamese dance groups, will be held this year.

Currently, Vietnam has around 100 break dance groups.
