Speaking at the closing ceremony, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh said the Vietnamese Culture Week in the RoK and the upcoming RoK Culture Week in Vietnam later this month would help strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between the two countries.

Echoing this statement, Kim Jong-min, Minister of Culture and Tourism of the RoK, said the event, in cerebration of the 15^th anniversary of Vietnam-RoK diplomatic ties, contributed to boosting cultural exchanges between the two countries and provided an opportunity for RoK people to have a better understanding about Vietnamese culture.

The cultural exchange reflected the two countries’ determination to further develop their friendship and multi-faceted cooperation, he added.

A series of activities, including a photo exhibition, tourism promotion programmes, a cuisine festival and traditional art performance, were also held during the five-day event.
