Entitled “Vietnamese cuisine Surprise”, Japanese Chukyo TV has begun filming a series of traditional Vietnamese cuisine specialities such as roast meat, beef noodle soup, chicken soup and ruou can (wine drunk out of a jar through pipes).
Four renowned actors and actresses - Ishida Jyunichi, Ishizuka Hidehiko, Hashino Emi and Wentz Eiji - began shooting a film on Vietnamese cuisine at the Sheraton Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City on January 5. There will be talks with Japanese guests who are visiting Vietnam to taste new, delicious dishes and drinks.
Deputy assistant producer Hiroki Fukaya said the 85-minute film will be screened at 10am on January 22 on Japanese TV.
