Mr Hop said Vietnamese circus attracts foreigners with its traditional characteristics including martial arts and folk games.

In a recent programme, audiences had the opportunity to watch three to four acts of circus on different stages.

The federation gave more than 1,000 performances in 2005, attracting nearly 5,000 spectators in 42 big cities across France.
