Four Vietnamese feature and documentary films were screened on March 15 at the 28th International Women’s Film Festival, which is currently taking place in Paris, France.

At the festival, Eric Sulie who is in charge of audio and visual areas in Southeast Asia, praised Vietnam’s constant development of cinematography in the renovation process. Vietnam introduced to world public the successes of the country’s cinematography sector through films about war and the renovation process made by Viet Linh, Dang Nhat Minh, Ho Quang Minh and Nguyen Vo Nguyen Minh.

One hundred and forty films from different countries around the world highlighted topics about gender equality, the fight against family violence and women’s role in social life.
