Vietnam is one of 40 countries exhibiting their products at the 15th International Kite Festival in Dieppe, France, from December 11-19.
Le Phung, Director of the Hue Culture House, and young kite maker Nguyen Dang Hoang, will attend the event with more than 40 different kites.
Vietnamese kites are have special designs and often flown on festival days.
Foreign visitors will have the chance to see the Vietnamese team wearing traditional costumes.
Hue kites first flew at the International Kite Festival in 1994 and proved an instant hit with foreigners and kite enthusiasts around the world.
The even is held every two years.
