This was the third time Vietnam won the championship title at the Asia-Pacific Robocon.

In an interview with Malaysia's national news agency the Bernama, adviser Huynh Anh Kiem and head of the team Luu Anh Tuan said the team had made careful preparations for the championship title.

Deputy head Cao Thanh Vinh seemed very excited to speak about the victory of the Vietnamese team “I feel happy like crazy”. He said the team had made strategic moves against each rival.
