A photo exhibition of the Vietnam war opened at the Rome Museum in Italy, with 120 back and white photos showing the Vietnamese people’s past struggles for national independence and freedom against foreign aggressors.

The exhibition, the largest of its kind in Italy, displays photos taken by the famous Italian reporter and photographer Ennio Iacobucci from 1968 to 1975 vividly depicting the misery and losses of the Vietnamese people during the unjust war.

Ennio Iacobucci and his colleagues, namely Tiziano Terzani and Orianna Fallaci, voiced their support for the Vietnamese people and criticized the unjust war. Ennio Iacobucci covered the Mau Than Spring general offensive in 1968 and took part in the Road 9-Southern Laos campaign in 1971. He was also the first Western reporter who provided information about the Vietnamese army’s victory in central Quang Tri province in 1972.
