Nine tourists from the US, Canada and Norway will join in a trans-ASEAN motorbike tour to be launched in Vietnam for the first time on September 24.
In the two-month trip, they will run through Vietnam for 20 days before crossing the border into Laos, Cambodia and Thailand on the way to Malaysia.

The tour is organized by Vinh Tan Tourism and Trade Company (Vyta Tours) - the first travel business in Vietnam and Southeast Asia to arrange trips of this type for tourists travelling in groups.

Director of Vyta Tours Phan Than said his company has come up with this idea thanks to its 12 years of experience in providing trans-Vietnam motorbike tours for foreign tourists.

Mr Than said Vietnam has great potential for developing this type of tourism as the country is located on the trans-Asia road, boasting various world recognized natural and cultural heritage sites such as Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, the former imperial capital of Hue, the ancient city of Hoi An and the My Son relics.
