The Deputy PM’s decision dated November 23 said that the event aims to highlight the importance of the study of physics and to discover talented students for further training.

Students from around 100 countries and territories worldwide will take part in the event scheduled to be held in Hanoi from July 20-29, 2008.

More than 80 delegates will attend a conference of the World Federation of Physics Competitions to be held in the same city from July 29 to August 2.
