10 outstanding Vietnamese students have left for the Republic of Korea (RoK) to attend the Asian Youth Camp Towards Future being held from July 31 to August 20.

The Vietnamese delegation includes five members chosen from excellent university undergraduates and five others who excelled in an English essay contest launched by the RoK Embassy in May 2007.

They will join another 270 delegates, aged 17-24, from 23 countries in the event organized for the second time by the RoK Committee for Youth Affairs.

Participants in the camp will have a chance to introduce their country’s culture through their own pavilion and learn about other cultures. Each delegation will also give an art performance to promote cultural exchange and friendship among Asian young people.
