This is the 4th consecutive month Vietnam is listed in the top 100, also placed first in Southeast Asia.
Thailand ranks 141st, the Philippines-148th, Indonesia-151st and Malaysia-153rd.
Scoring 1442 points, Spain leads the world rankings, followed by Germany (1345 points), Uruguay (1309 points), the Netherlands (1207 points). In Asia, Australia tops the list, the second and third positions belong to Japan and the Republic of Korea, respectively.
As scheduled, on June 8 Vietnam’s national football team will compete with the Chinese team for an international friendly match. Two days later they will meet a team from Hong Kong (China). The results of the two matches are forecast to affect Vietnam’s position in the July rankings.
