The 164 member Vietnamese sports delegation includes 112 athletes who will compete in seven of the 11 events at the Games such as track and fields events, table-tennis, badminton, weightlifting, chess, swimming, and tennis.

The delegation hopes to win 60-65 gold medals at the biggest sports event for disabled people in the Southeast Asian region.

Vietnam ranked third at the previous Games in Malaysia with 73 gold medals.
