The 2009 Vietnam Sea Festival officially kicked off on April 29 at Pie Pierre Cardin Centre in Paris, France, with the aim of introducing Vietnam’s image and the potential of the country’s sea tourism to the world’s community.
The event was organised by the national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines in coordination with the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV).
Present were 25 leading travel agencies from Vietnam and others from European countries such as France and Germany.
Under the framework of the festival, seminars on Vietnam’s tourism potential, music and dance performances, photo and handicraft exhibitions were held.
