Forty hand-made embroidery works made by Vietnamese artisans using designs and materials from the Republic of Korea are on display in Hanoi.
The exhibition, entitled “Charm of the RoK’s embroidery fabric material and thread” aims to honour Vietnamese embroiderers and highlight the traditional embroidery of Vietnam and the RoK, Keum Gi Hyung, Director of the RoK Cultural Centre in Vietnam, said at the opening ceremony on January 5.
He said he hoped the exhibition will help Hanoians better understand the RoK’s embroidery and similarities of the two countries’ traditional handicraft.
The exhibition will last till January 15 at the RoK Cultural Centre.
