A Vietnam-Republic of Korea Friendship Night kicked off in Hanoi on Dec. 23 in presence of over 150 senior Vietnamese government officials and RoK students.
The opening ceremony was marked with the presentation of US$2,500 from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to the KOICA Club.
KOICA Club President Mai Ha, also Director of the National Institute for Science and Technology Policy and Strategy Studies, said the money will be used to promote humanitarian activities and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
Since 1991, KOICA has invited 2,200 Vietnamese officials and students to study in the RoK, contributing to Vietnam’s human resource development.
