The event will open at the Vietnam Song, Dance and Music Theatre in Hanoi at 8pm on September 3.

A series of celebratory activities will take place, including exchanges between composers and listeners in the central province of Quang Ngai, a music street festival in Dong Xuan, Hanoi, a piano concert in Ho Chi Minh City and a music gala in central Hue city.

In particular, composers and singers will gather in Ca Mau to participate in a special music programme in celebration of Vietnam’s August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).
