Vietnam misses Slovenia Badminton semi-finals
(VOV) -Vietnamese duo Tuan Duc/Thu Huyen were trounced by their German rivals Jones Rafli Jansen/Cisita Joity Jansen at the quarter-finals of the Slovenia Badminton Open Tournament on May 11.
The Vietnamese players said farewell to the tournament after 1-2 (17-21, 21-15 and 21-18) to the German competitors in just 41 minutes.

Earlier, Thu Huyen is qualified from the women’s singles semi-finals after being defeated the tournament’s No.5 seed Lene Clausen 2-0 (21-18 and 21-10) in two sets lasting 30 minutes.
In the final round on May 12 evening, Lene Clausen of Denmark will meet Ukrainian player Marija Ulitina, who is seeded No.3.
In the doubles event, Jones Rafli Jansen and Cisita Joity Jansen will compete against Zvonimir Durkinjak and Stasa Poznanivic from Croatia, who are considered the tournament’s No.1 seed.
