Vietnam’s national football team remains the leader of Southeast Asia, maintaining its 97th position in the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) latest rankings.

This is the seventh consecutive month Vietnam has been placed atop Southeast Asia, since December 2011.

At present, Spain still leads the world thanks to its three recent friendly victories against Serbia, the Republic of Korea and China.

In Asia, Australia has continued holding first place in the most populous continent since March 2012.
