The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology will coordinate with the National Folk Museum of Korea to organize the 2007 Vietnam-Korea Mid-Autumn Cultural Festival in Hanoi from September 21-23 with assistance from the Korean Cultural Centre in Hanoi, the Vietnamese-Korean Culture Exchange Centre and Viettel Company.
The event is expected to help visitors understand both Vietnamese and Korean cultures as well as the similarities and differences between the Mid-Autumn festivals in the two countries.
There will be Vietnam’s lion and dragon dances and walking-on-stilt games for children, and Korea’s Nongkag dance and Songpeong moon cake making demonstration.
The Vietnam-Korea Mid-Autumn Cultural Festival will be a new development in the cultural exchange between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea.
