Vietnamese books are being showcased for the first time at the 33rd International Book Fair that opened in Kolkata, India, on January 28.

The country’s publications, including “Vietnam along history” and “a Wonder to Vietnam,” have drawn readers’ interest.

During the fair, the Vietnamese delegation led by the Deputy Director of the National Political Publishing House, Le Minh Nghia, held a talk to introduce Vietnam’s books.

The delegation also worked with leaders of India’s National Book Trust Publishing House to prepare for the signing of an agreement on publishing books about Ho Chi Minh and Vietnam’s history and culture.

The book fair, which attracts hundreds of publishing houses and book distributors from 18 countries, will last until February 8.
