The Vietnam Youth Federation (VNYF) and the National Cadet Corps (NCC) of India have agreed to promote the exchange of information and experiences between the two countries' youths during the 2006-2010 period.

An agreement to this effect was signed in Hanoi on December 5 by VNYF President Nong Quoc Tuan and the NCC Director General Lieut. Gen. PS Chaudhary.

Under the agreement, each side will send one delegation comprising two leaders and 13 youths to the other country for a 10 day visit each year.

The annual exchange of delegations between the VNYF and NCC which started in 2001 has not only created chances for the two countries' youths to visit historical relics and landscapes but also helped them better understand the other country's culture, languages, lifestyle and customs.

Earlier, VNYF Nong Quoc Tuan held talks with his Indian guest. The two sides expressed their hope for further development of the relationship between VNYF and NCC.
