The competition, which was launched from August 25 to December 15, 2008, attracted more than 2,200 entries by hundreds of photographers nationwide.

The first prize for photo collections was given to ‘Le Hoi Cau Dinh’ (Temple Festival) by Vu Duc Huy. Also in the collection category, the second prize belonged to ‘Cho Phien Dong Van’ (Dong Van Market Day) by Pham Binh and the third prize was presented to ‘My Son-Destination’ by Do Cao Dung.

Van Phuc won the first prize for solo photos while the second and third prizes went to Lai Dien Dam and Thai Tuan Kiet, respectively.

The prize-winning photos will be gathered into albums accompanied by CD ROMs and be used as gifts to ATF guests. The album and CD-ROM will also be used to promote the image of Vietnam at international tourism fairs.

The ‘Vietnam-Fifth Season’ exhibition will open its doors to audiences at 29 Hang Bai, Hanoi, on January 5.
