•  Festival promotes family values

During three days, the elderly will have chance to take part in seminars and competitions.

Besides, there is an exhibition on the implementation of family planning in recent years and the Government’s strategic project on developing Vietnam family until 2020 with a vision for 2030.   

The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in co-ordination with the Hanoi municipal People’s Committee.

Ten years ago, the Prime Minister decided to choose June 28 every year as Vietnam Family Day to heighten responsibilities of ministries, departments, social organizations and individuals in the process of building family towards the goals of prosperity, progress, equality and happiness.
