The CDEF, which will be funded with 3 million Danish Krone for the 2006-2010 period by the Denmark-Vietnam Cultural Development Co-operation, is designed to support artists and cultural performances in Vietnam and cultural exchange activities between Vietnam and Denmark.

CDEF will also grant travel funds for training, working and study visits by Vietnamese who wish to learn in Denmark.

There will be four annual deadlines for submission of applications for both Vietnamese and Danish cultural individuals or organisations. The first application deadline of this year will be May 1.
