Entries may be in the forms of sculpture, calligraphy, lacquer, handicrafts and paintings.

The grand prize winner will be awarded US$30,000 while the two first prizes are valued at US$20,000 each. Three runners-up will receive US$10,000 each and five third prize winners will get US$5,000 each. The contest’s organising board has also created 40 consolation prizes worth US$500-800 each.

The contest is co-organised by the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, and the Chinese Youth Union. All the prized artworks will be displayed at the third ASEAN-China exhibition in the Chinese province of Naning.
