During the visit from February 16-26, the Vietnamese delegation worked with the France National Administrative College (ENA) and administrative institutes of Bastia region and Lille region.

The two sides worked out a plan for cooperation in exchanging of trainers and lecturers and the Vietnamese side will send public employees to France for training. They also discussed possible provision of distance and online-training courses.

ENA promised to provide Vietnam with long-term scholarships to train two young public workers a year and was ready to share experiences in public administration with Vietnam. The college said it would send lecturers to Vietnam and help the country with distance-training programmes.

The two institutes in Bastia and Lille were committed to receiving about 20 Vietnamese trainees for local management.
