At the festival, visitors had an opportunity to see beer production technology and enjoy free beer from many local and foreign famous breweries.
Mr Duong Thanh Binh from Thai Binh province said he felt very safe after witnessing the Hanoi Beer Factory’s production process.
Ms Nguyen Nhu Quynh, director from the Global Trade Company said although she cannot drink beer, she knows almost all the names of breweries in Vietnam. She said she often introduces her international customers to Sai Gon Beer, Hanoi Beer and Carlsberg.
Breweries also held an impressive march to attract connoisseurs. Many famous restaurants seized this opportunity to introduce their “golden addresses” as well as delicious dishes to visitors.
The three-day event was co-organised by the Vietnamese Association of Beer, Alcohol and Soft Drinks, the Eastern Culture Joint Stock Company and the Institute of Strategic Research and Industrial Policies.
A charity concert was held during the event and the organising board will use VND100 million from the proceeds to support to the Vietnam Association for Victims of Orange Agent.
