•  National martial arts championship open in Hue

The event involves martial artists from 32 countries over the world to demonstrate the skills of Taekkyon, Muay, Arnis, Karatedo, Kendo, Hapkido and Capoeira.

The Vietnamese delegation includes martial artists from the Ministry of Public Security, led by instructors Le Kim Hoa and Le Ngoc Son, and from the Army team led by instructor Nguyen Dat Tue.

The festival, sponsored by the World Martial Arts Union (WoMAU) which is headquartered in the RoK, aims to present the world’s martial arts forms, including traditional ones from different countries.

Vietnam has taken part in the festival since 2000.
